Before I signed on this course I had tried to make a painting several times and always failed to bring the work to a satisfactory result. I have attended courses before but they didn’t help me to express myself nor to understand other paintings. In this context this course has the right program as it teaches the fundamental principles of painting: dynamics, harmony and equilibrium.

Another important thing is that Gilbert encourages us to put attention to work of other colleagues and art-works from classic to contemporary period. I find it difficult to invest this time myself, but it always turns out to be rewarding.

I found the last year and a half of this course very interesting and I will make an effort to keep a good continuation also in the future.
