I started taking painting classes at artquarium in June 2015 and have been attending very regularly every week since then. I've always been interested in art history and have attended exhibitions since childhood, but I've never practiced drawing or painting. Like everyone else, I was given the "trick" of drawing the pot and other vases, gourds and apples for a few sessions, during which I thought I'd like to do something else! But as I was finally quite satisfied with the results and progress (thanks also to the "teacher's" encouragement), I felt like continuing after my 10 trial sessions.
I really admire the understanding, adaptability and flexibility of the teachers, who are never negative, always open to everyone's wishes, and that can't be easy given the diversity of the participants, of all ages, cultures and backgrounds, with their wide range of experience in the field!

The atmosphere is always friendly! My enthusiasm only grew with the discovery of colors and the immense interest I found in the exercises, and I soon started working at home, buying all the necessary materials!
A real self-therapy at the same time! All the discoveries made with these tools (brushes, pencils, rulers, acrylic paint) are just brilliant.
The difficulties encountered: my demands, my limits, my impatience...never mind, we carry on...we go through, we correct, we relax, we start again and I'm so delighted with the result...but, I should say with the progress, because I don't intend to stop there! Thank you Gilbert and Artur!
