" In testimony"

Date

Novice and inexperienced in drawing, I came to artquarium with a desire to initiate myself and discover the world of drawing and painting. My primary motivation was to learn different pictorial techniques in order to give myself the necessary reading tools to analyze a classical or contemporary work. Finally, I wanted to experiment and test these teachings through personal creations, firstly to learn drawing, to understand and overcome my difficulties, and also very much for the pleasure of creating.

In a workshop lulled or sometimes stimulated by music, Gilbert teaches with pedagogy, patience and kindness, techniques of composition, structure, color and much more. Each lesson is supported by analyses of masters' works, which are then commented on and explained, before the student applies the technique in a creative act. In the process, Gilbert patiently guides and advises students, enabling them to express their abilities to the full, or even to discover hitherto unsuspected resources.

A year and a half later, I can say that it's a great pleasure to take the courses taught by Gilbert. The courses are of excellent quality and correspond to my initial expectations.
As an added bonus, this training raises aesthetic awareness beyond the limits of drawing or painting, opening it up to the realities of everyday life (music, nature, architecture, etc.).

I'd like to encourage everyone who wants quality teaching in a friendly, pleasant atmosphere to take part in artquarium classes.
