" It's a long way from drawing for pleasure to applied techniques."

Date

It's a big step from "drawing for pleasure" to applied techniques. A step I took thanks to a friend whose essays intrigued me with their balance. The fact that I'd been drawing all my life, that I was lacking the technique I wanted to see if I was still capable of learning, these were the challenges I set myself! For almost two years now, I've been receiving the teaching I need to move forward on this new creative path, learning pictorial harmonics (composition + color).

Holding a pencil and drawing any "landscape" is affordable for anyone. Learn to "unlearn" and correct my faults, my prerequisites. Being humbled by what has already been done. To be able to say what I like and WHY. Transform my outlook and retain the emotion of my 1st love affair. Find my way among the thousands of possibilities for expression. All this has to be LEARNED!

Challenge launched! A success to behold! So I came to the Artquarium just to see. I saw! I'm still seeing! I come back after seeing elsewhere, to confront my experience...
